Dr. José Ignacio Jalón

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1982), Medical Oncology specialist, Master’s degree in Palliative Care and Support for cancer patients from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Since 1986 he has attended national and international symposiums and congresses.

He is a member of Scientific Societies and Cancer Research Cooperative Cancer Research.

He has developed his professional activity in the Oncology Department of the  Hospital Ruber from January 1985 to December 2007. Since 2007 he is the Department Director.

He joined the Oncology Department of iTAcC in April 2016, developing a whole professional activity in oncology areas, especially gastrointestinal tumours and soft tissue sarchomas. He participates activily in cancer screening programms, follow up, and prevention and treatment of late side effects related with cancer treatments.
