Felipe Orozco

Dr. Felipe Orozco is a Specialist in Hospital Radiophysics. He graduated in CC. Physics from the Complutense University of Madrid and trained via RFIR at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital. He has subsequently developed his experience at the Hospital Universitario de la Princesa, the Hospital Universitario de Fuenlabrada and the Hospital Universitario La Paz.

His training and subsequent work experience has gone hand in hand with the main technological innovations in Medical Physics and Radiation Oncology. He was part of the team specialising in the implementation of the Cyberknife Unit, for Stereotactic Fractionated Radiotherapy -SBRT- and radiosurgery treatments, as well as the Intraoperative Radiotherapy Unit. He is also a specialist in a wide variety of brachytherapy treatments and MRI-guided hypofractionated treatments.

Dr. Orozco is the author of several publications in national and international congresses. He is a member of the Spanish Society of Medical Physics (SEFM) and the Official College of Physicists (COFIS), as well as a lecturer in Specialised Health Training Schools.

He currently focuses his work on improving the quality and safety of Radiotherapy treatments with the most advanced technology in VMAT, radiosurgery, Surface Guided Radiotherapy (SGRT) and Magnetic Resonance Guided Radiotherapy (MRgRT), always trying to provide the patient with an increasingly personalised treatment.
