Dr. Jose Antonio Fermoso

Dr. José Antonio Fermoso Gutiérrez has a degree in Physical Sciences from the University of Valladolid. With extensive experience in the field of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy as a technician, and always eager to progress professionally, he trained as a specialist in Hospital Radiophysics at the Hospital Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda.

He completed his training at the Hospital Universitario de Asturias, in the field of gynaecological and prostate brachytherapy.

Both in that training period and in subsequent work stages at the Hospital Virgen de la Victoria (Malaga), he has participated in the planning and quality control of highly complex treatments (radiosurgery, SBRT, hypofractionation in breast RT), trying every day to apply his passion for radiophysics to these treatments.

He is a member of the Spanish Society of Medical Physics (SEFM).
