Graduated in Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2011. She obtained her specialisation in Radiation Oncology (Hospital Ramón y Cajal) and completed her training in the Oncology Departments of Sarcomas and Central Nervous System of the Royal Marsden Hospital (London)
Dr. Carmen Escribano Quintana is enrolled in a continuous medical education, and she is an expert in support of patients (nutrition, pain, communication with family) and lung cancer.
She is a member of SEOR (Sociedad Española de Oncología Radioterápica)
Her work is focused on the area of Benign Diseases (arthosys, arthritis) and customisation of the radiation therapy treatment using volumetric modulated arcotherapy (VMAT) in prostate, lung, gynecologic and gastrointestinal tumors, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and implementation and drawing up protocols for accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI)
